In short there isn’t too much to Ben, but he is, from the point I am taking him from, eight years old. He’s a good kid for the most part, raised well by his mother in a single parent home. He’s good with the chicks and well liked by others (especially considering how many people were at his 8th birthday party!). His mothers home looks like it’s a nice one so he’s been raised in a good environment at least. Though his mother admits to having a wild streak in her life, she’s taken good care of her son.
Ben and his mother live in a small suburb of Cicero in Indiana in a nice house where I can only assume he attends a fairly nice elementary school as well. He’s in about 3rd grade and no doubt doing pretty good with his classes. There isn’t much history to give for his past.
On his 8th birthday he had a rather large party with lots of friends form school as well as their parents. There was even an ‘Epic” Moon bounce set up (A major chick magnet you know) in their backyard. This was the first time he met Dean Winchester, though he didn’t know who this man was, other then some guy at his party.
Shortly after the party he was out at the park, a little down looking. Dean happened to see him and came over to see what the problem was. He was too embarrassed and stubborn to tell a stranger what was bothering him, but Dean being so good at reading people figured it out. Answering questions is easier then ratting out someone anyhow. A large boy, a bit of a bully, had taken his DS portable game and was playing it with three of his friends, leaving Ben to sit alone and wait. You don’t send an adult in to get these things back. That would be a bitch move, and Ben is clearly not like that. Dean offered him some advice on how to stand up and take it back.
Ben did just that. He went up to the boy, asked for it back, and when the boy refused Ben made like he was going to leave... but then hit him. With a few good swift kicks to the nads the large boy went down and none of his friends stepped in to help. Returning to the bench where Dean waited Ben cheered, excited that it worked! He got his game back and stood up to someone who had picked on him. Not only that but Dean was proud of him! At this point it seems that Ben has found a male role-model to follow. However his mother happened to see as well as was really upset! She dragged Ben away from Dean, but clearly Dean hadn’t been thanked yet. Yanking from his mothers hold he turned to run, returning to Dean and hugging him tightly around the middle saying ‘Thank you.’
There was a Changeling going around and exchanging children in the neighborhood and Ben happened to be caught as well. Sitting in a cage with other children in cages, Ben stayed calm and waited. When Dean and Sam came to find the children, Dean rescued Ben first, then helped break the locks for the other children. Staying calm, collected and level headed, Ben helped escort the other children together while Dean got them out of cages. When Dean broke the window to try and get the kids out, Ben was the first to smartly offer his jacket as a cover for the sharp edges of the glass, to help protect those climbing out.
Dean called for Ben to come first, but Ben, being a smart and strong willed young boy, reached out and pulled another child first, leading him up to Dean to get him out first. He then helped to lead each of the others to the window first, trying to get everyone out before him. In the end Sam and Dean had to fight off the creature that was attacking them leaving Ben and two kids behind and waiting.
While fighting, Dean gave an order for Ben to get the rest of them out. The young boy moved swiftly, grabbing a tar bucket and hauling it up, making a platform for the other kids to climb on, helping the girls out the window with a small push. He started to follow, turning back to watch Dean and the other guy fighting the woman. Instead of staying behind though he started through the window, hands pulling himself out and--this is where he ends up stumbling into the entrance hall of a new place, no longer outside but now inside the house of doors.
Personality:
Ben is your average 8 year old! Well, almost average. He has a love for cars, ACDC, and a good eye for chicks. He curses (“Only bitches send an adult in. I’m not a bitch.”) though perhaps not in front of his mom so much. He plays video games, colors, and plays with toy cars. He uses the terms ‘Awesome’, ‘Dude’, ‘Sup’, ‘Chicks’ and other general older era words that he no doubt picked up from his mother and her friendsor just genetically though his ‘fathers’ genes... He also reads and appears to be pretty smart.
He had never really fought with anyone before meeting Dean, being a good mannered young man for the most part. When bullies poked and picked on him he let them, choosing to sit back and just wait for whenever he might have a chance to get his things back or not. He wouldn’t go to his mother about these matters, as that really wasn’t right. He didn’t punk out like that. If he lost his things then so be it. Dean however taught him how to get them back, teaching him to step up and stand for himself. The first time he did it felt good and made him happy. It’s one of those things that you suddenly realize that you can deal with tough situations on your own.
He’s a calm kid. While trapped in a cage by the Changeling he didn’t seem to lose his head. He appeared scared, like anyone would be, but still calm and level headed. Instead, when freed he did what he could to help. He smartly guided the other kids to the side while Dean set them free. He then showed how smart he was by offering his jacket to protect the others form the broken glass of the window. On top of all that when taking the order to get the others out he brought a tar bucket over to help make a platform to get the other kids out, not attempting to push them out the window like Dean had, but being smart and giving them all another lift to let them out with.
Ben is caring, charming, intelligent, calm but fun loving. He reacts and acts a lot like a young Dean but might seem a bit (to Dean) like a young Sam. There are so many similarities between Ben and the Winchesters that it’s hard to believe he’s not related to them. In tough situations he is calm and collected, smart and ready to do as told.
Fears: Canonly there isn’t much room for “fears” to be established. As far as I know there isn’t too much mentioned or shown that might come off as a fear. For the sake of the game I am going to consider a few things as fears. One and the most important is losing his mother. She’s everything he has and he is willing to protect her if he can, even at the young age of eight. When all you have is the one parent and not much else around for family, you try and hold on to that person as tightly as you can. He wants her to be happy after all.
I am also going to play with the idea that he dislikes being locked up. Perhaps after this whole Changeling incident with the cages Ben has developed a small childhood style fear of small locked up spaces. It’s not something that will effect him too badly but he will not like, at all, being alone and locked up.
Being all alone and isolated is another thing that I feel would bother him greatly. To the point that he might sit there and yell for someone to come and get him, or at least talk to him.
Weaknesses: He’s still only just 8 years old. He hasn’t grown up much outside of his protected world of his mother. Things haven’t happened much and he’s only seen Dean those few times after his birthday and during the rescue. He’s young, not well versed in the outside world, let alone the supernatural aspect of the world. He’s still very much a mama’s boy and a bit sheltered (in a way). Protected.
Being young, he’ll be easier to trick or lead away as well. Easier for the spirits to pull him away and out to them. He’s not trained as a fighter or to use guns or weapons either, so he won’t know how to deal with the monsters in the night until someone helps him with that. Even then he won’t be the strongest or best fighter. After all... he’s only eight. A mature eight, but still young.
Mundane Strengths/Abilities: Knows his cars. Damn good drawer for his age! Level headed and calm for the most part. has a good eye for the chicks. He’s small and able to fit into small spaces. He feels he understands more then one might think he does at his age. He takes good direction and orders, especially if it’s from someone he trusts. He helps his mom in the kitchen, so he knows how to cook simple things, and because of all the bike crashed, bumps and scrapes he’s gone through himself, he knows how to clean simple wounds (thanks to mom doing it for him for so long!).
Sensitivity/Magical Ability: None! Just a normal young boy who doesn’t see ghosts or anything like that yet! Just normallike his father.

Sample RP post:
Dean had just yelled for him to get the others out of there! He took no time in moving, looking up to the tall basement window and looking at the two girls that were still left behind to help out. He had to get them out of there. This was really important!
Looking around he realized that they wouldn’t be able to get up to that window on their own. Dean had been giving everyone a lift out! He knew he could do it himself; he was a good climber after all, but the girls wouldn’t be able to.
It didn’t take long for him to see the buckets. There was a gray one, smeared with black (tar maybe) and clearly having been opened before. Ben didn’t even think about it, he just reached for one, lifting it up, glad it wasn’t too full or it might be heavy. Lifting it up to the other box just under the window he steadied it, then helped the girl in her pink pajamas to get up on the box and bucket. Steadying her he kept looking back to see what Dean and the other man were doing.
They were fighting still. They were men and they were fighting someone very bad. He had to help in anyway he could, and that was to get his friends out. Steadying the first girl he helped boost her out the window, then waved for the next girl in line, getting her out as well.
Climbing onto the bucket himself he was about to follow, only to pause and look back, almost worried about Dean for a moment. His concern was short lived as he realized they were strong guys and had this under control. He moved forward, making sure to be out of the way, and started out the window.
Instead of dirt and glass and dead grass on the outside of the broken basement window however he stumbled into floor. Soft smooth cool but dusty floor! Did the window to the basement floor come into the kitchen or something? His foot was caught on something, looking down to find his coat on the tip of his shoe. Bending down to grab it up he turned around, dropped to a knee and was about to stick his head through the basement window again only to find a solid wooden door right before his eyes.
Stumbling back, scared he looked around swiftly. Where was the window? Where was the broken glass? Where were all the other kids, the woman, Dean? Anyone?! He stood again, dusting himself off and slinging the coat around him, slipping his arms into it and frowning in concentration. Okay, there was something wrong going on now and he was scared. He’d been scared all night tonight but this wasn’t helping. Still he stayed calm.
“Hey? Where did everyone go?!” Where did the basement go? “Dean?” He called, starting to walk carefully though the dim house, looking for the basement, for Dean, the other kids, or any way outside, because this wasn’t right.
